Breed: American Bulldog X
My name is Tiny Tim and I am a big huge lovable boy! I am like a gigantic gentle giant, I love to give slobbery kisses and get loads of cuddles. Still no forever home after two years with us! While Cooper is a happy go lucky chap who makes the best of things, two years without a forever home is a long time. We’d really love to see him start his proper life at long last at the age of seven years.
Poor Tiny Tim spent the first 5 years of his life stuck in a tiny back yard and was never walked or even had that much time spent with him. In spite of this, he’s managed to retain his sunny outlook and loving nature and takes most situations in his stride. He was a bit of a locomotive when out on walks when he came into us, as no one had ever taught him how to walk nicely on the lead. But with some training and the wonderful invention that is the Halti head collar, he has improved hugely in this regard. After spending nine months at the kennels, Cooper is living in foster care at Sinead’s and is getting on fine with her pack of dogs and foster dogs. He can however be a bit much for some dogs and can get worked up when he meets other dogs out on walks. So he could go to a home with other dogs, but will need an experienced owner and careful introductions to make sure everyone gets along.
He is a chilled, laid back big dude and full of love. He would love a forever family of his own to finally let the good part of his life begin.
Needs: An owner with experience of strong breeds and a strong arm as he is a big guy!
Other dogs: Yes, but the other dog would have to meet and get on with him, as he is a bit too much for some dogs.
Cats: Sadly not!
Children: Would have to be older teenagers, as he is a big clumsy guy!
Cuddles: Yes please!
All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a home check will be required.
